semana santa

didn´t make it to sevilla nor valladoilid nor elsewhere for semana santa (easter). had to be content with the celebrations here in alcalá. the atmosphere was really depressing. here are the photos (sorry, salieron movidas):

next week we have an entire week of study hols, so i´ll be going to granada. just for three days but well, something is better than nothing!

have been thinking loads. as in, reflecting! and getting philosophical and stuff. but just too tired to pen down everything. es demasiado pesado.

indian lunch

on saturday, 8th of april, 2006 i prepared an indian lunch (rice, chole, dal, potato sabzi, tandoori roti, raita and paayasam) for 14 people. i consider it an achievement. two of my friends (shawna and viviana) helped me. otherwise i wouldn´t have managed it.

it was good fun but at the end of the day i was dead tired. i was actually falling asleep sitting (don´t know if it was because of the bottle of apple licor i finished).
